I have been married for eleven years and most of those years my husband has been in prison. This is a space for you to come and be with women who can relate to what you are going through. Somewhere you can meet friends, rant, or look for information. A spot you can make your own voice heard and also find information, advice and love in a non-judgemental place. We are the forgotten ones in society and I am here to make us known. So I welcome you, whether you just come to browse, or want to join. Take a look at our new logo. My husband drew it from a design idea I had. I chose the Phoenix, the mythical bird that is tried by fire and reborn through the ashes. The Phoenix's tears also have magical healing powers. Like the Phoenix, we are tried by fire, we are reborn and made stronger through the ashes, and our tears bring healing. The heart below, if you look closely is two people, one holding the other. This is a symbol of our loved one who is locked up. Sometimes you will be the one holding him and sometimes, he will be holding you. If you notice the white areas, they are half of the Yin and Yang symbol; this is simply symbolizing that our other half is gone.
